In the Gospel reading last Sunday (11 October), Jesus said: “…give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.”. It was also Indigenous Peoples Sunday.
The JVPFI National Office launched GBG: Go by Giving (a fundraising campaign for Jesuit Volunteers on Mission) at the Aerie in the Ateneo de Manila University.

The new set of Manila Local Chapter officers also took their oath before the JVPFI President, Mr. Bombim Cadiz. GBG will also be launched soon in the JVPFI Local Chapters. “Go by giving” is part of a quote by Blessed Teresa of Calcutta where she said: “Some give by going, others go by giving.”
