Senator Mar Roxas and DSWD Secretary Dinky
Soliman will be the guest speakers at the lunch program
in celebration of the Jesuit Volunteers Philippines Foundation
Inc.'s (JVPFI) 25th anniversary on August 8, 2004 at the
Escaler Hall, Science Education Complex at the Ateneo de
Manila University.
The JVPFI Annual General Assembly is an
occasion for members of the Foundation to know how JVP has
been contributing to nation-building and to be involved
in making JVP grow and become more effective in its mission.
All former volunteers, members and associates of the Foundation
are invited to the General Assembly on this date.
The JVP is one of the longest running volunteer service
programs in the country. It started out twenty-four years
ago by sending out nine brave souls to different Jesuit
mission areas in Mindanao. Now, 24 years after, that small
group of nine has evolved into more than 600 young men and
women that have been sent to over 200 schools, non-government
organizations and parishes nationwide.
Moving into its 25th year, it is dedicated
to the task of nation-building by promoting volunteerism
and forming effective, faith-driven agents of social change.
To RSVP for the GA, please email bpineda@admu.edu.ph,
